What a Wonderful World

Over the past few weeks, I’ve had an opportunity to take a break from photographing babies and enjoy some of the beauty that the earth has to offer.

This first one is something that has been on my “photography bucket list” for awhile.  Last night, I met some friends in Anacortes to try to catch a glimpse of the northern lights.  We weren’t disappointed!
I also made it down to the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival with my daughter (and some friends) earlier this month.  Most of the blooms are gone now, but if you’re in Washington next spring, this is definitely something that you shouldn’t miss!For spring break, we took a trip to Southern Utah with my family and stayed at Arches National Park.  Now, I’m in love with the Pacific Northwest, but I’ll concede that the red rock formations in Utah are pretty cool too!
