Hi, I’m Michelle! As you’ve probably figured out, I’m a photographer. I live in Kent, Washington and specialize in maternity and newborn photography. I have been in business for over ten years and have a small studio in my home. I am comfortable using both studio and natural lighting.
I wasn’t always a photographer–in fact, I actually got my degree in Math Education. But after I had children of my own, I realized how quickly they grow and I became obsessed with trying to capture every moment. This realization is still what draws me to newborn photography–it amazes me how drastically a baby changes within the first few weeks of life. I feel so privileged to help families capture those fleeting newborn moments! And let’s face it, it’s hard to pass up a job that allows me to spend my day cuddling sweet, new babies.
Between running a business and raising three children of my own, I don’t often find myself with a lot of free time. But when I do have a moment, I enjoy reading, singing, and pretty much anything chocolate.
