Kahlan and Mason are expecting their first child (a girl!) next month. We decided to take some maternity photos at Hovander Park as the sun was setting (Whatcom County Maternity Photography). I went into panic mode when I woke up and it was POURING rain and the forecast said that it would last all day. I scrambled to think of an indoor location that we could use in a pinch. Luckily, the rain stopped just in time and the clouds even cleared enough to give us gorgeous light for our session. The ground was still pretty wet, but Kahlan was a trooper. And, by the way, isn’t she one gorgeous mama-to-be? I can’t wait until next month when we can get some pictures of her WITH her daughter.
